HOGARTH William (1697 - 1764), da invenzione di COOK Thomas (c. 1744 – 1818), inciso da - HUDIBRAS ENCOUNTERS THE SKIMMINGTON - CAVALIERE ERRANTE - From SUITE "ILLUSTRATIONS FOR SAMUEL BUTLER'S HUDIBRAS" [English description] LONDON, Hogarth Restored. The Whole Works of the Celebrated William Hogarth. G. G. & I. Robinson, 1806 - (mm 290x515) – Engraving on nineteenth century. At the lower side, below the illustration, author’s name “W. Hogart”, title in the middle and legend at the side; at the upper margin, beyond the right illustration, plate’s number “Plate XII”. Fairly good condition, slightly and uniform yellowing. Bibliografia/Codice identificativo/Reference: THIEME-BECKER VII, 1912, P. 348/I
