BONE CHINA BOTANICAL COBALT BLUE GROUND PART DESSERT SERVICE Stoke, England, 1851-1885, printed black interlaced C and uppercase mark, iron-red pattern no. 1/3426 and blue painted x, comprising an oval cake basket, a pair of tazzae (bases detached), another pair of tazzae, and twelve plates, dia: 8 in., each finely hand-painted with a flower specimen, the petaled rim enriched with a seeded gilt floral arcade pattern reserved on a rich cobalt blue ground; together with four associated but similar Meissen teacups with twined handles, five saucer dishes and a single English teacup (27) Provenance: Estate of Mrs. Orme Wilson, The Tuleyries, Boyce, Virginia
