          Description: Deborah Copenhaver-Fellows (American, b. 1948), Bronze Horse, signed, dated '86 and numbered 4/25 on horses side, depicting a smiling man leading a horse, on a stepped rectangular stone base. Size of bronze: 16 in. x 18 in. x 7 1/2 in. Deborah Copenhaver-Fellows is an American sculptor known for her Western themed works. The daughter of a rodeo rider, Copenhaver-Fellows grew up on a ranch in Idaho before studying art at the Fort Wright College of the Holy Names. She is a member of the National Sculpture Society and has been inducted into the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame. Measurements: Height: overall 21 1/2 in. x Width: 19 1/2 in. x Depth: 11 1/2 in. Condition: Good condition, minor wear to base, particularly at edges, and a small chip to one corner.           DEBORAH L COPENHAVER FELLOWS NUDE EAGLE BRONZE

          27" tall, 8.5" wide including base. Signed as shown. Born in Spokane, Washington, Deborah Copenhaver Fellows is a sculptor of western subjects. She has a degree in fine arts, and has continued to study sculpture and art history in the United States, Italy, France and Greece. Her work includes a bronze stage coach that is in the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs and a life-size Boy Scout for the Boy Scouts of America. She has also been commissioned by the University of Texas, the State of Montana, and most recently, James Irvine in Los Angeles. In 1990 she won the competition to sculpt the Washington State Korean War Memorial for the state capital grounds. Copenhaver-Fellows works in bronze and silver. She is married to sculptor, Fred Fellows, and they and their daughter lived in Bigfork, Montana, and later moved to Sonoita, Arizona.
