Correggio", rückseitig undeutliche Annotationen in Blei sowie neuzeitliches Etikett "Correggio, Max * 1854 † 1908 (D) München ....", Erhaltungsmängel, restaurierungsbedürftig, im prächtigen Goldstuckrahmen gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 33,5 x 43 cm. Künstlerinfo: italienischstämmiger dt. Tier-, Landschafts- und Genremaler (1854 München bis 1908 München), Sohn des Malers Josef Correggio (1810–1891), zunächst Schüler seines Vaters, studierte ab 1870 an der Akademie München bei Wilhelm von Diez und Johann Leonhard Raab, beschickte die Ausstellungen im Münchner Glaspalast sowie die Landesausstellung in Nürnberg und die Große Kunstausstellung in Düsseldorf, Mitglied der Münchner Künstlergenossenschaft, tätig in München, Quelle: Thieme-Becker, Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", AKL, Müller-Singer, Bénézit, Matrikel der Münchner Akademie, Bruckmann "Münchner Maler des 19./20.
