          Cornelis Cort, Ruhe auf der Flucht nach Ägypten an einer Quelle unter einem Baum ruhende Maria mit Jesus und Joseph, wobei Joseph dem Jesuskind gerade einen Kirschzweig reicht, im unteren Bereich Text zur Darstellung, Kupferstich auf Bütten, rechts unten in der Platte bezeichnet "Federicus Barotyus Urbinas inuentor" sowie Cornelis Cort, fc." und teils vom Passepartout verdeckte Datierung "1574", leichte Altersspuren, unter Passepartout und hinter Glas gerahmt, Passepartoutausschnitt ca. 39,5 x 28 cm. Künstlerinfo: niederländischer Kupferstecher (1533 Hoorn/Holland bis 1578 Rom), ging 1566 nach Venedig und lebte bei Tizian, war tätig für den Verlag von Hieronymus Cock, ließ sich anschl. in Rom nieder und gründete hier auch eine Schule, Quelle: Thieme-Becker und Wikipedia. Gotisches P. -- -- Cornelis Corts seltenes Blatt mit der Darstellung der drei römischen Schicksalsgöttinnen wurde erstmals 1561 von Hieronymus Cock in seinem Verlag Aux Quatre Vents ediert und basiert in seiner Komposition auf einem von Giulio Romano entworfenen Stuckrelief im Palazzo del Te in Mantua.
