      Italy.- Costello (Dudley) Piedmont and Italy from the Alps to the Tiber, 2 vol. in the original 6 parts, first edition, vol. 1 & 6 with engraved vignette titles, 130 engraved plates, 6 double-page maps, tissue guards (1 loose), some scattered spotting, a few hinges tender, original decorative cloth, gilt, corners worn, a few marks or scattered ink spots, spine ends slightly frayed, still a bright and attractive set, g.e., 4to, [1859-61]. ⁂ Rare to find in 6 parts and in the original cloth, as opposed to the more common two volume edition of 1861. The letterpress titles for this edition are bound in at the end of vol. 6.
