Alison Coulthurst Art for Sale at Auction

Born in Zimbabwe, Alison studied fine arts and graphic design before moving to London in the 80's where she worked for a top tier advertising agency. With these foundations her unique style took hold and radiates throughout her work to this present day. She moved to Australia in the 90's and a mother to three beautiful children. She now lives in her beautiful Art Studio in the Byron Bay hinterland.?


The paintings of mixed media artist Alison Coulthurst remain highly sought after by art collectors through out the globe. Building upon her huge success in Sydney, Alison's work has been exhibited in Europe, Africa, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand and through out Australia.?


Her works explore many techniques including sgraffito and even application by hand resulting in multiple rich layers displayed in each artwork.



Alison has recently returned from two successful solo exhibitions in France and Italy, with works painted while living and painting in the French wine countryside. Excited and inspired, Alison has finished a new body of works called "there are no ordinary moments"
