    Rosemary Coyle (fl. 1940s-1990s) PORT SIDE, SUEZ CANAL, 1948 signed lower right; inscribed and dated on reverse watercolour on paper 37 by 27cm., 14.75 by 10.75in. Provenance: Gift from the artist to the late Harry Boylan Coyle was a Dublin artist who exhibited at the RHA from 1941 to 1967. Her first solo exhibition, held in 1943 at the Dublin Painters' Gallery, was opened by Seán Keating. Widely travelled, her subjects ranged from views of Killiney and Dublin city to Jerusalem, Cairo and Tokyo.
