Condition: Good overall condition, having normal surface wear, with moderate wear and scratches to surface in some places. Estate fresh to the market.     Albert Victor Crewe (1927-2009) Untitled (sculpture) 1998 marble signed "Crewe 98" sculpture: 19"w x 8.5"d x 18.5"h; base: 15"w x 11"d x 1.5"h Catalogue Note: Albert Victor Crewe was a British born American physicist who invented the scanning transmission electron microscope. He was director of Argonne National Laboratory, a member of the National Academy of Sciences, and served as Dean of Physical Sciences at the University of Chicago (1971-81). He received a scholarship to University of Liverpool, UK, where he studied both art and physics.
