      Watson Cross (Californian, 1918-1997), Watercolor painting depicting a Spanish Mission surrounded by mountains, most likely California. Signed, "WATSON CROSS -40-". Housed in original wood frame 11.25"h x 15"w. Watson Cross Jr. is a well known California watercolor painter of the first half of the 20th century. He studied at the Chouinard Art Institute, Los Angeles, California and was a member and president of the California Water Color Society. He participated in several exhibits and also taught.
