      Adelaide Milton de Groot (American, 1876-1967), "Still Life with Cat", oil on canvas, signed lower right. Modern still life painting depicting three decorated terracotta pitchers or vases with blue flowers against a red expanse with blue carved stone animal figurine in the form of a seated cat at left. Labels on verso from Columbus Museum of Art, stretcher with oval shaped label from Ch. Pottier, Emballeur, 14. Rue Gaillon_Paris, also with circular French export stamp on stretcher. Framed approximately 28.9" x 25.125". Unframed approximately 21.6" x 18.125". Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Richard and Katherine Graham, Atlanta, Georgia.
