      Oil on canvas Germany, 1924 Georg Deinhart (1868-1939) – German painter Signed and dated lower left ‘G. Deinhart. 1924’ Very good condition This still life shows a table, laid with a number of delicacies; the left part shows a bowl of fruit; ham right next to it, surrounded by grapes; to the right, a red crab and mussels. In the background, to the right, there is a bouquet of flowers in autumnal colours. There is a signature and date lower left: ‘G. Deinhart. 1924’. The work has an ornamental gold-leaf frame. Both the piece and the frame are in very good condition with slight signs of age-related wear and use. The colour layer shows craquelure and minimal loss of colour.
