At the upper part inscribed in the printing plate: "Salin die namenhaffte Statt in Burgund nach ihrer Figur und Gelegenheit abgemalet.". At the upper part numbered in the printing plate: "338 | 339". Date: 16th century Description: 4-page paper sheet printed on both sides about the town of Salin. The graphic (pp. 338-339) shows a detailed view of the town of Salins-les-Bains in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Individual buildings and districts are also labelled in the illustration. There is also a figure of a ruler in the left-hand corner and a text block at the bottom providing historical contextual information.     Hans Rudolf Manuel Deutsch (1525 Erlach (Berne) - 1571 Morsee (Vaud)): Political-historical and artisanal scenes from Switzerland Working gold and silver ores The oath on the Grütli Sheet with 2 leaves, 16th century, Woodcut Technique: Woodcut on Paper Inscription: At the upper part inscribed in the printing plate: "Scheider und Wäscher auff dem Sumpff.". Date: 16th century Description: The picture presents two separate woodcuts, the upper one of craftsmanship, the lower one of political activity. At the top we see blacksmiths working iron and gold. Below, three commanders stand together in front of a wide alpine landscape with a lake. According to legend, these are the three conspirators from Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden who swore an oath on the Rütli.
