Dieninghoff’ Verso titled ‘Der Riegsee’ and marked ‘M.5393 W Dieninghoff Theresienstr. 134 RGB II " Overall dimensions, framed: 94 x 115 cm This beautiful landscape was painted by the German artist Wilhelm Dieninghoff (1903-1984). In the foreground an idyllic landscape with cows can be seen. Behind there is the Riegsee with majestic mountains of the Bavarian countryside. The painting is signed lower right ‘W. Dieninghoff’ and verso it is marked with a handwritten note ‘Der Riegsee, M.5393 W Dieninghoff Theresienstr. 134 RGB II’. The canvas is slightly bombed lower right and upper left. Upper left some color is chipped. The frame shows slight scratches and signs of age and wear. The overall dimensions are framed 94 x 115 cm. The stretcher measures 78 x 98 cm.
