It depicts is a woman sitting on a chair in elegant casual pose. The vigorous, bright colors were applied in broad flat brush strokes, sometimes spotted thickly onto the canvas, creating a particularly aesthetic contrast. The painting is signed lower right 'Dinetto'. It is overall in very good condition with only minor studio traces on the edges. The dimensions of the stretcher measure 80 x 70 cm. Lino Dinetto (b. 1927) Lino Dinetto was born in 1927 in Veneto, Italy. At first impressed by Impressionism and the plein-air painting, he later devoted himself to the art of the Renaissance and after his classical art education he painted a lot of religious motives. His encounter with the Futurists led to a rethinking, therefore he continued to work intensively with the expressionist movements such as Cubism and later lnformalism. His work became increasingly abstract. However, a recurring subject remains the woman. (cru) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
