    A rare cased set of five Qingtian stone seals with micro carved calligraphy by Ding Foyan (1878-1931) - 1903 the 30th year of Guangxu, the subjects of the seals are No. 1 Long Day No. 2 Ordinary Life is a Fairy Tale No. 3 Knowledgeable Man No. 4 A Gentleman who possesses many friends No. 5 Old Stone; the microcarvings are articles regarding palaeography. Other Notes: Ding Foyan was a famous calligrapher and Cultural reclics expert and collector as well as a Member of the Republican legislative as Secretary-General before being jailed for opposing President Caokun. He went into decline and died aged 55. These seals were carved at the age of 25.
