(sight) PROVENANCE: Property of a New England Gentleman Note: Accompanying lot is a note inscribed "John T. Dodge may have been a Boston Shipmaster. Listed in Boston Directories 1851, 1854-57. Over period he signed: Le Havre 1862: Buenos Aires 1864; Montevideo 1867; Le Havre 1870-72. Exhibited Boston Athenaeum 1860's. The Theresa was built 1861, Prince Edward Island."
