This work was created by Dutch artist Joseph Duchateau. It was made around 1960 and depicts a wide beach landscape with people strolling at the beach. The light colouring and deep horizon evoke the wide openness of the North Sea coast. The figures, which are jotted on the page with simple strokes, bring life to the minimalistic landscape. The sheet is marked ‘EA’ on the lower left as artist's proof and signed ‘Duchateau’ on the upper right. The image size is 47 x 65.3 cm. The sheet size is 56 x 76 cm and is in a very good condition.
