Artist Marta Echazarreta was born in Miami, Florida on December 1, 1971. Born with a natural talent, she proved her artistic eye for detail at a young age. Marta’s education was paused at the age of 20 as battling cancer took precedence while igniting her passion for painting. This era of her life continues to fuel what she claims to be a spiritual artistic expression. Today she continues painting in a rich abstract interpretation of emotional energy, using form, color and hidden elements. Her paintings have a modernist sensibility; her fluid drawings begin in charcoal, conceived and created at the same moment, set on a palette of color variation and balance. Marta’s unrelenting appreciation of her life experiences can only continue to propel her to renowned status in the decades to come.
