Frank Edmunds Sold at Auction Prices

History: Born in Derby in 1950, Frank Edmunds studied at Birmingham Polytechnic, attaining a BA Hons in Fine Art and an MA Sculpture. At this time, the focus of his training was on concepts and ideas, rather than on demonstration of technique. However, Frank believes that art is about the ability to produce a good piece of work and not just abstractly demonstrate ideas.

He has lectured at several institutions in the Midlands and his recent work exploits his personal interest in mythology. He is intrigued by the ambiguity of Greek mythical creatures and what their mannerisms would be if they had actually been alive today.
