Image size 13 x 17 inches. Housed in period gilt frame with gilt inner mount, frame size, 24 x 20 inches. Very good condition, please see accompanying image. Emsley was a prominent Manchester artist and exhibited at The Royal Academy, The Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, and Manchester Art Gallery.

It measures approx. 14.25" x 11.5". INFO: Walter Emsley was born on February 12, 1860 in the outskirts of Manchester and died at the age of 78 on March 28, 1938. He was an interesting man, whose paintings and water color drawings have been known in Manchester and district for over a century. Many of his works have been purchased for public galleries, Manchester having purchased two of his works for their permanent collection.
