    Mary Everett American 1876-1948. Landscape of a meadow. Signed with initials M.E. Mary Orwig Everett Studied with William Merritt Chase she painted in Iowa until 1919 when she went to S. California. She exhibited at the Laguna Beach Art Assn., The California Arts Club 1920-1938, and the painters and sculptors of Los Angeles. Oil on board 19 x 12 inches. Overall with frame (period) 12 3/4 x 15 3/4.
