      Andrea Favero, born March 26, 1837, in San Zenone degli Ezzelini (Treviso) and died June 10, 1914, in Como, Italy, was a renowned Italian painter. He took his first steps in the art world at the Venice Academy, where he cultivated his passion for painting. One of his best-known works, "Atrio Moresco," presented at the Venetian Exhibition Perspective Competition in 1856, earned him a prestigious gold medal. His artistry enabled him to participate in numerous exhibitions, receiving awards such as the Mostra Marchigiana in Urbino in 1871, the Mantua Industrial Exhibition in 1878, and the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris, where he won the Grand Prix and a gold medal. In 1906, at the Milan Exposition, he gained further recognition with another gold medal. Besides being an excellent painter, Favero distinguished himself as a teacher in the cities of Mantua, Messina, Livorno and Como. Among his most famous works are "The Game of the Spinning Top," "Baptistery of the Cathedral of Messina," "Gallinacci in Love," "The Compulsory School," "The Three Friends," "The Stop," "Struck by Lightning," and "The Presentation of Sweethearts in Sardinian Costume." Parallel to his artistic career, Favero also tried his hand at writing, publishing several literary works. In addition, he actively participated in the War of 1859, thus contributing to the history and historical context of his time. Il fait ses premiers pas dans le monde de l'art à l'Accademia di Venezia, où il cultive sa passion pour la peinture. L'une de ses œuvres les plus connues, "Atrio Moresco", présentée au concours de perspective de l'exposition vénitienne de 1856, lui vaut une prestigieuse médaille d'or. Son talent artistique lui permet de participer à de nombreuses expositions et de recevoir des prix tels que la Mostra Marchigiana d'Urbino en 1871, l'Esposizione Industriale de Mantoue en 1878 et l'Esposizione Universale de Paris en 1900, où il remporte le Grand Prix et une médaille d'or.
