          Oil on ivory, relined Bath, UK, 1837 Charles Ford (1801-1870) Verso signed and dated Dimensions of the miniature (incl. the passepartout): 12.1 x 10.1 cm A hinged wood slipcase with an inside velvet cover enclosure Good condition, consistent with age Chest depiction of a lady with a light blue dress sitting on a red chair Condition: The miniature is in good, age- related condition. The glass is loose and has to be fixed on the rear side. The outside slipcase shows stronger traces of wear in places, especially on both hinges to opening the case as well as on the lower border, where the miniature can be slide. The inside velvet cover is partial minimal stained. The dimensions of the miniature (incl. the passepartout) is 12.1 x 10.1 cm. (ala) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
