(120.7 x 96.5 cm.) Sheet dimensions: 40 x 60 in. (101.6 x 152.4 cm.) Very good condition Estimate: $3,000 This photograph of Grace Kelly shows the actress on the set of “Rear Window” (1954). Sitting on white steps, Kelly is dressed in a tulle skirt with a navy bodice and her signature gloves and string of pearls. Considered by many to be one of Hitchcock’s best films, “Rear Window” received four Academy Award nominations the year it was released. Originally released by Paramount Pictures at the 1954 Venice Film Festival, the film stars Grace Kelly, James Stewart, Wendell Cory, Thelma Ritter and Raymond Burr. This photograph was produced from the original 8 x 10 in. silver nitrate Film Studio negative, and was digitally restored, enhanced and colorized. Bud Fraker (American, 1916-2002) Born in Pennsylvania, Bud Fraker studied photography at Los Angeles City College while working part-time at the Columbia Studio still laboratory. Eventually becoming the Director of Still Photography at the studio, Fraker took photographs of numerous Hollywood stars of the 1930s. Fraker moved onto Paramount Studio, assisting in the portrait gallery before becoming their Director of Still Photography. He did still photography for numerous iconic films, including “Twentieth Century” “King Creole” and “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” After leaving Paramount, Fraker did freelance work for other studios while running his own photo lab. Condition In overall good condition. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.

Condition Creases to the edges, most affecting the upper left recto corner. Faint handling soiling to the verso. In overall good condition.
