    Description: Martin Friedman (NY/Hungary, 1896-1980), Afternoon Rhythm, Oil on Canvas, signed lower right and left, titled on verso, depicting an abstract landscape in tones of blue, red, yellow, green and brown, unframed. A fine art painter of abstraction, Martin Friedman was born in Hungary, and lived in Provincetown, Massachusetts from 1955 to the 1970s. He also lived in Brooklyn, New York. He was a student at the National Academy of Design. Memberships included Federal Modern Painters and Sculptors, Audubon Artists, and Woodstock Art Association. (askart.com) Measurements: Height: 18 in. x Width: 24 in. Condition: Good condition, light wear to edges of canvas, small spot of white paint in upper right corner.
