        Outstanding original ink drawing of the famous "Sea Grill" in New York by important artist and illustrator Marvin Friedman (1930-2012). Friedman studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art with Henry C. Pitz. He became a well-known book and magazine illustrator and comic artist for major magazines such as Playboy, Boy's Life, Cosmopolitan, Saturday Evening Post, and many others. Friedman also produced illustrations and covers for a number of books. In the 1980s Friedman was commissioned by Gourmet Magazine to produce illustrations of New York's most famous restaurants. He created a number of ink drawings and watercolors of New York's restaurants during the 1980s and 1990s. This watercolor is signed and dated on lower right. Measures approx. 16" x 11" image size and 18 3/4" x 24 3/4" frame size.
