Norman Galinsky Art for Sale at Auction

b. 1942 -

During the 1960s, Norman Galinsky honed his early passion for the arts by participating in Experiments in Art & Technology, a program led by Robert Rauschenberg and innovative leaders in the fields of art and science. After seven years as a chemical engineer, Galinsky chose to leave his career to pursue the arts full-time, and enrolled in Columbia University's MFA program, from which he graduated in 1973. Since then, Galinsky has perfected his abstract use of color and interlocking patterns, reflections of quantum physics on canvas and in print, by drawing upon his background in science and engineering. His works are included in numerous private and public collections, including Bank of America, Columbia University, and the Spencer Museum of Art in Lawrence, Kansas.
