Condition: restored crack on the left. The panel painting hung in Adenauer's private house, as a photograph shows. See http://histrhen. landesgeschichte. eu/2019/05/der-kanzler-und-die-kunst/; On the photo it hangs to the right of a panel of St. Ursula, which has just been acquired by the Schnütgen Museum in Cologne. Adenauer probably bought it from Heinz Kisters (1912-1977), but maybe also from another dealer. After Adenauer's death, however, it became part of Kister's collection.
