Loose pages. Colour frontispiece and 22 full page sepia drawings and some black and white illustrations in the text. One torn several loose. This copy is as in Muir 2744 who states that earlier copies of the first edition have "The Hat Shop opposite p32 and the "Fight with Red Gumnut opposite p42 and is printed by W C Penfold, 183 Pitt St.

A very rare poster: Baby Week. "I Hardly Like Delivering the Goods ,Mrs Kookaburra, Them Humans is so Gum Careless of 'em", by May Gibbs. No date but Trove dates it as 1920. Measures 25 x 31 cms. National Library Catalogue does not give the size of their poster. There are some slight differences to the colours in this to the copy held by the National Library . This poster is complete although there are some tears and possibly a splash of foxing (although this may be part of the colouring)
