        Skip Glomb (1935 - 1988) "The Blanket Chief" Artist Proof Bronze Sculpture. Western and Wildlife Artist, Skip Glomb's bronzes and paintings reflect his interest in the outdoors. He was a skilled Horseman, Wrangler, Cowboy and Hunting Guide, as well as a highly regarded Western and Wildlife Artist. His given name was Ralph Martin and most of his work was signed Skip or R.M. His bronzes and paintings can be found in homes from Texas to California and the Canadian Border. Skip was also commissioned to do an "All-Around Trophy" for the National Finals Rodeo, when it moved to Las Vegas. Skip Glomb was killed in an airplane crash in Wyoming in 1988.
