GODDARD, GEORGE HENRY. 1817-1906. Bird's Eye View of San Francisco and Surrounding Country. San Francisco: Britton Rey & Co. for Snow & May, 1880. Lithographed view on paper, 815 x 1209 mm., early and later coloring, creases from fold marks, some brief toning, but generally excellent, framed. Goddard was a government surveyor who completed many sketches and paintings of the country, later having one of the highest peaks in the Sierras named for him.
