Лист N° 10 из серии «Армия союзников в Париже в 1815 году». Изображены (слева направо): денщик, пехотный офицер на бивуаке, гусарский офицер, полковой священник, казак иррегулярных частей («мародерствует»). Представлен ОДИН ИЗ САМЫХ РЕДКИХ листов.         including 'Les Modes Anglaises à Paris', 'L'Amour et les Graces Arrivant de Londres', and 'La Famille anglaise au Museum à Paris', all by Godefroy, the first 2 for for Le Suprême Bon Ton, along with a similar original watercolour design in the manner of Godefroy, this inscribed in a contemporary hand on verso Costumes Anglaises, Oct. 15th, 1814 , also with 2 plates on the same subject for Le Bon Genre, and 3 satires on English manners, 'Amusements des Anglaises a Londres', 'Amusements des Anglais a Paris', and 'La Voracité Anglaise', the first depicting forms of suicide, the last two of gluttony, 8 original hand-coloured engravings, each average 215 x 300mm., and 1 pen and ink with watercolour, 175 x 250mm., surface dirt, occasional short tears at sheet edges, stitched into contenporary limp covers, worn and soiled, the last plate pasted to the lower, upper cover inscribed in a contemporary English hand, oblong folio, c.1814. The inscription on the upper cover reads Caricatures - drawn in 1814, when the English had, for the first time after a War of nearly 20 years, made their appearance at Paris. The drapes however are too faithfully represented to be called Caricatures .
