    A BRITISH ISLE GEORGE III QUARTER SAWN OAK TALL CASE CLOCK, WITH CLOCK WORKS BY THOMAS WRIGHT (English 1711-1786) AND DIAL AND CASE ATTRIBUTED JAMES GRAY (Scottish active 1772-1822), the arched crest centering a bell form finial, within two adorsed swan neck scrolls in applied gilt bronze floret medallions, over an arched line inlaid frieze, above an arched glazed window opening to a tole painted clock face, with a Roman numeral painted dial, centering an abraded makers mark reading "Gray Edinborough [sic]," and hand hammered brass hands; the clockworks stamped twice "Wright Birm.," within ring turned tapered walnut columns, over a molded rail, above a figured mahogany and line inlaid panel, over a pointed arch inlaid pendulum door, surmounting a rectangular line inlaid base, raised on bracket feet, and joined by a shaped skirt, including one weight.
