    The Washer Women, monumental watercolor on paper, signed lower right, marked Moret and dated 1891, depicting a long porch on a canal with a row of women scrubbing away at linens, housed in a mahogany panel frame with ornate gold painted gesso trim, OS: 33 1/2" x 41 1/2", SS: 20" x 29". Good condition. Kate was sister to Eleanor, who painted the other washer woman portrait in this sale.
