    John Frederick Greenwood (1885-1953) City street, 9/50 and the doorway, 4/50, two woodcuts, each signed and numbered in pencil the the margin, 8" x 2 3/4" and 5" x 3 3/4" respectively (2). Greenwood was one of the earliest contributors to the Society of Wood Engravers and a respected teacher of wood engraving technique. He was particularly known for his landscape subjects.
