(44) Eigenartige und in ihrer Bildwirkung absolut überzeugende Bleistiftzeichnung des Konzeptkünstlers, der seine Identität als Autor ab 1998 zum völligen Verschwinden bringen wollte: auf einem Offsetdruck ist das Graphit durch ausdauerndes Schraffieren stark aufgewellt und sorgt für eine ebenso auf den Untergrund bezogene wie gleichzeitig davon isolierte, reliefierende Wirkung. - Auf einen schwarzen Unterlagekarton montiert. - Gut erhalten.

The artist refrains from providing any biographical information because he wants to place the content of the artwork itself into the foreground. Therefore, he changed his name into ‘htmrbr‘ in 1998. He was a participant of the documenta 6. One of the works has got some damaged parts in the paper in the lower left. One of the upper groins of the frames is broken. One work shows heavy foxing in the lower area. Together they build a nice series. The total dimensions, including the frame, are each 41 x 30.5 cm. He works with different artistic techniques and is deals with phenomena of the present. In the present work three rectangle forms can be seen, which are arranged side by side on the sheet. The first form is created only by the outline, with the center rectangle also the area is designed in graphite. The right rectangle is the collaged paper, which is completely covered with graphite. The etching is dedicated and signed lower right in pencil ‘für Angela Hetum‘, and inscribed lower left in pencil ‚21 x 29.5‘. The collaged sheet is loose, there is a small water-stain in the lower right corner, extending into the signature. The margins are minor toned.
