Gutherson" LL, pencil signed verso, as: 17" h. x 24" w.; and "Fishermen", depicting two men in rowboat in lake at dusk, signed "G.E. Gutherson" LL, paper label with artist's name and address applied verso, craquelure, past frame rubbing especially UL corner, as: 16 1/8" h. x 24 1/8" w., both pencil inscribed along top stretchers and canvas verso, with early 20th C. art supply stamp and store labels verso, both with minor warping around stretchers.
