Published by The New York Engraving and Published Company, New York, 1867. Impressive Mammoth Size Engraving, measuring 17.75" x 23.25" (by sight) framed to an overall size of 25.25" x 31.75" in a vintage wooden frame. Image depicts George and Martha Washington together with their two adopted children, George Washington Parke Custis and Eleanor Parke Custis. Housed in a decorative gold painted wood frame, (no glass). George is shown sitting, holding a book; Martha stands behind him with her knitting, and the two children are in the background. An impressive George Washington Mezzotint Engraving with choice eye appeal for display, an example is available to view at the Library of Congress.
