Das ansprechende Interieur entstand wohl in den 1920er Jahren. Erich Hennig hatte an der Berliner Kunst- und Kunstgewerbeschule und an der Münchener Akademie unter Gabriel von Hackl, Paul Höcker und Ludwig von Herterich studiert. Er war nicht nur als Maler, sondern auch als Illustrator tätig. Neben den Ausstellungen im Münchener Glaspalast beschickte er auch die Berliner Akademieausstellungen.

Hennig” Numbered lower left in chalk “4818” Overall dimensions 18 x 14.5 cm Very good condition This humorous ink drawing by the German painter and illustrator Erich Hennig shows a family with mother, father and son. While the parents, equipped with a bag and a walking cane are ready for a picnic on the grass, the son, who is hiding a cigarette behind his back, does not seem to be so convinced by this prospect. The ink drawing is in very good condition. It is signed lower right in pencil “E. Hennig” and numbered lower left in chalk “4818”. At the reverse there are some notations on the artist in pencil. The overall dimensions of the ink drawing are 18 x 14.5 cm. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
