HENRY HILL Goodfellas Mafia Original Painting

        Est: $200 - $400

Original painting by Henry Hill (American, 1943-2012), Lucchese crime family associate turned FBI informant, portrayed by Ray Liotta in Martin Scorsese's 1990 critically acclaimed Goodfellas. While in federal witness protection (for his direct role in 50 mob convictions) -- among other "hobbies" -- Hill took a dubious stab at art, painting scenes from his long and storied career as a mobster. Some of the scenes are recognizable to anyone who's seen the movie, Goodfellas, including this painting, which depicts cash and guns, with a quote from the movie. Painting is 10-1/2" x 13-1/2" visible, matted and framed to 17-1/8" x 21-1/8". Signed lower right. In the lower left, Hill has apparently intended to write "Tampa 2011," but somehow managed "Tapama 20011."
