          Oil painting on board of a Autumn nature scene done in a loose gestural manner. The painting is signed Hillbom : Henrik Hillbom (1863 - 1948). On the back is written, "To Catherine Donally with compliments from the Hillboms '37". The frame measures 17" high, 13 1/4" wide and the painting is 12 1/2" high, 8 3/4" wide. The frame has natural signs of age with some nicks and scratches and the wooden panel has an one inch age crack in the upper left corner. The total weight is 2 1/2 pounds.
