          For your consideration is this original framed watercolor painting done by renowned Montana artist Jack Hines (1923-2015) circa late 1900s. On May 2, 1923, William J. "Jack" Hines was born in Omaha, Nebraska, a small town in eastern Nebraska not far from the Platte River. He heard tales of westward exploration, Indians, and river men since his earliest memories. These memories have dominated his mind throughout his extensive artistic career and demanded to be captured visually. With his wife Jessica Zemsky, he made their home in Big Timber, Montana, in 1971. The Northwest Rendezvous Group's founding members were Jack Hines and his wife Jessica Zemsky. On June 20, 2015, Jack Hines passed away. The painting depicts a woman posing for a portrait as she looks towards the viewer with a stoic look. She is wearing a dark colored beret and what appears to be an orange/red colored scarf. The piece is signed by Jack Hines in the bottom left hand corner in green paint reading, "Jack Hines". It is double matted with white matting paper, sits behind glass and is set in a light wood frame. The art and frame show good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of major damage is noted. The visible art measures 13 1/2" L x 9 1/2" W, while the entire piece measures 20 1/8" L x 16 1/8" W x 1 1/16" D. It weighs 3 pounds and 6 ounces.

          Featured in this lot are two William Jack Hines (1923-2015) framed prints. William Jack Hines was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 2nd, 1923. early in his childhood he become interested in Native Americans, River Men, and the exploration of the West. He settled in Big Timber, Montana with his wife in 1971 and founded the Northwest Rendezvous Group, a Western art show held in Helena, Montana. Hines passed away in June 20th, 2015. The first print in this collection is titled "Grizz Country" and shows a bear standing on its hind legs looking at a trapper setting his trap near a river. The trapper notices the bear over his shoulder and reaches for his rifle to defend himself. The print shows great attention to detail. The print and frame show good condition with no signs of wear or obvious damage. The visible print measures 9 5/8" L x 13 5/8" W, while the entire piece measures 11 5/8" L x 15 5/8" W. The second print in this collection is titled, "Pow Wow". The print shows three trappers in the scene. One is standing on the grass with the butt of his rifle on the ground and the barrel in his hands while the first man on horseback rides up to him to talk. The third trapper trails behind also on horseback, as he leads a third horse with packs. In the background is a thick tree line, towering mountains and large clouds rolling past. The print shows great attention to detail. The frame and print show good condition with no signs of wear or obvious damage. The visible print measures 9 5/8" L x 13 5/8" W, while the entire piece measures 11 5/8" L x 15 5/8" W.

          Offered in this lot is a collection of four Jack Hines wall Calendars. Three of these wall hangings have calendars from 1977,1979, and 1982, the fourth has no calendar. Jack Hines (1923-2015) was an American artist from Big Timber Montana. The first shows "The Song Of The Buffalo" with a 1977 calendar. The second shows and a 1979 calendar. The third one shows "Portugee Phillips' Ride...1866" and a 1981 calendar. The last one is a second copy of "Evening Encounter At Independence Rock" but has no calendar. These wall calendars have metal strips at the top and bottom and a hang tab at the top. The sheets measure 28" x 20", the art 19" x 13", and the calendar is 14" x 9 1/2".

          Included in this lot is a collection of three Jack Hines western prints. Jack Hines (1923-2015) is an American artist known for his western art. The collection consists of three western prints by Jack Hines, titled "Blessed by the Great Spirit", "Courtship Song", and "Tracking the Stray". The first of the pieces shows a hawk flying over a pair of boulders with four braves on horseback. The second piece shows a Native American couple with a white horse in the background. The final print shows a mounted cowboy tracking a lost calf in a snow covered forest with a red sunset sky. Each of the prints are set on a foam board and marked with the title and the original size of the oil painting. The pieces show good condition overall, with some light wear. The boards measure 11" wide by 11" tall with the prints measuring 9 3/4" wide by 4" tall and 9 3/4" wide by 7 1/4" tall.
