Reste alter Etiketten, alte Numerierung "N. 48". 33,5 x 41 cm. Gerahmt. Hoeniger genoss die Ausbildung in Malerei zunächst an den Kunstakademien Berlin und München. 1891 ging er zum Studium des französischen Impressionismus nach Paris, wo er in die Académie Julien eintrat. Zurückgekehrt nach Berlin, folgten zahlreiche weitere Studienreisen nach Frankreich, Holland und Belgien. Vorliegendes Gemälde, wohl entstanden in den 1890er Jahren, steht ganz im Zeichen des französischen Impressionismus.
