Very good condition Marietta Hoferer (German/American, b. circa 1970) German-born artist Marietta Hoferer is known for her luminous “drawings” composed of grid-like arrangements of tape and pencil. Drawing on the concept of minimalism, her works explore texture, visibility, and geometry. Hoferer studied at Hunter College in New York and at St. Martins School of Art and Design in London before receiving an MFA from Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. Her work can be found in the collections of the Harvard Art Museums, Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Weatherspoon Art Museum, Arkansas Arts Center, and Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University, among others.
