Robin Hoffman is a visual artist whose prolific career boasts international and domestic landscapes, portraits, and commissioned murals, most recently for Devil's Backbone Brewing company in Roseland, Virginia as well as for the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She was a scenery design painter for the Brooklyn Ballet Company from 1981-1984, and was the assistant to acclaimed American realist visual artist, Chuck Close (b. 1940) from 1989-1991. Her work has been exhibited both in the United States and Quebec, Canada. Hoffman currently lives and works in Charlottesville, Virginia.
