Signed and inscribed below the image in the printing plate: "Stich, Druck & Verlag v. Kneller in Stuttgart / A. Hohenstein"; titled below: "Wie mogst denn um Gottswill'n a goar a so sein!!", which in German means something like "Zier' dich nicht so!". A young man is courting a young dairymaid in the cowshed, but she doesn't seem to want to return his sympathy. Probably from: "Kunst-und Unterhaltungsblatt für Stadt und Land".
