Petr Holeček studoval nejprve výtvarnou výchovu v Českých Budějovicích a po té ještě kurz kresby v Irsku, od roku 2004 se v Irsku usazuje a stává se asistentem v ateliéru sochaře Patricka O. Reillyho. Toto umělecké setkání mělo určující vliv na další směřování Holečkovy tvorby. Objevuje techniku odlévání bronzu do ztracené formy. Tento materiál a technologie mu umožňuje zhmotňovat doposud nerealizované myšlenky a ideje. Postupně opouští abstraktní ztvárnění a bronzové plastiky nabírají stále více figurativní charakter. Pravidelně se účastní významných sochařských výstav v Irsku, dále se prezentoval na výstavách v Polsku a v České republice. But perhaps it was his incredible effort and cunningness that saved his son Odysseus many times during his adventures.
