[Netherlands]. "Itineraire en Algemeene Post Kaart van het Koningrijk Holland. MDCCCX." Engr. map w. handcol. borders, mounted in sections on linen, 75,5x90,5 cm., The Hague, Dépôt Generaal van Oorlog, 1810. - Strips of tape along margins of all sections; two stains in left margin; archive ticket in lower left corner and on verso stamp "Depot generaal van Oorlog", w. below in pen and ink "General de Mellet". Koeman further mentions that while the map was to be published with the title ending with the year number, it appeared just after the Kingdom of Holland had been annexed by the French Empire, and that at the last moment the phrase "vereenigd met het Fransche Rijk" was added below the year. Our copy does not have that phrase. The owner was Louis de Mellet, a high military official in the Dutch army under Lodewijk Napoleon.
