        Allan Howes (1888-1969) - Glazed stoneware model of the Virgin Mary and Child sitting on a lotus leaf on a raised pedestal, 11ins high (incised with the name of the artist and dated 1934.3). Note : Edgar Allan Howes studied at the Royal Academy Schools. Better known for his bronze groups, one of his bronzes of "Madonna of the Lily" was purchased from the Royal Academy in 1926 by the Queen.
